The 32-year-old singer is a member of girl group The Pussycat Dolls and has also had success as a solo artist. She enjoys singing pop hits, but is far happier treading the boards.

She is currently preparing to star in an upcoming Hollywood Bowl production of Rent, directed by Neil Patrick Harris. The brunette beauty can’t wait for opening night because she feels like her whole life has been leading up to that performance.

“It’s funny because people are used to me singing Don’t Cha and Buttons and this is actually where I’m the most home,” she told BBC News.

In addition to “RENT,” Scherzinger will return to NBC’s “The Sing Off,” where she’ll judge a cappella groups alongside Ben Folds and Shawn Stockman. The show’s final open casting call is Saturday, June 6 in Los Angeles.

The 30-year-old Pussycat Dolls singer insists that, while she is happy with the Formula One racing driver, she has no immediate plans to settle down or start a family with him.

She said: “Marriage? Well, I’m only 30, but I want some time first before we do all the wedding stuff. Stop trying to marry me off! We’re both busy and very young, but I know that we’re a team. Team Lewis, and, yeah, it’s all great between us. I could not be happier and I think that he feels the same – well, I know he does.”

Nicole – who began dating the 23-year-old sportsman earlier this year – also confessed she felt like Victoria Beckham when cheering for Lewis in the Brazilian Grand Prix last month, which saw him crowned the youngest ever Formula One champion.
